Goa: The corporation of the city of Panaji (CCP) will hold its first post-lockdown council meeting on Wednesday.The corporation will consider the request of the pay parking contractor for exemption of Rs 6.8 lakh during 45-day lockdown period. The contractor has already applied for the exemption and it will be finalised at the meeting, mayor Uday Madkaikar said.
Although he said the contentious issue of renewal of trade licenses for casinos would be decided by the council it doesn’t feature on the minutes of the meetings.“After the meeting we will hold meetings with the traffic and town police so that there is no haphazard parking of casino vehicles. We have given both the casino staff and customers two parking options.
