GOA: Opposition leader and Congress MLA Digambar Kamat urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to heed the please of students across the country and postpone the JEE and NEET exams.
Kamat said that the Centre should understand the gravity of the pandemic and take decisions. “The student’s demand is genuine and the government must postpone the examinations,” said Kamat. “I request the Centre to postpone the JEE and NEET exams and not to play with the safety of the students.” While JEE is scheduled from September 1 to 6, the NEET exam is to be held on September 13.
