GOA: Upgradation and expansion work of the primary health centre (PHC) at Cansaulim, which commenced in 2015, is finally nearing completion. The facility, a long-pending demand of the villagers of Cansaulim, Velsao, Utorda, Seraulim, Majorda, Benaulim, Cana-Benaulim, Colva and Betalbatim, is slated to be ready for inauguration in two months and will be equipped with better infrastructure and enhanced medical facilities.
“The new construction has come up at the same place where the old PHC existed, near the railway station in Cansaulim. This 42-bedded health centre will be one of the finest PHCs in the state, and will provide diverse medical facilities to the villagers,” Cortalim MLA Alina Saldanha.
